Blueberries provide significant antioxidants including anthocyanin and cryptoxanthin which work to promote macular pigment in human eyes as well as eliminate free radicals in the blood stream which reduce the risk of the formation of cancerous cells.



The combination of blueberries and ginger provide a sweet zap whilst the crunchy pumpkin seeds offer a crisp texture.

  • Blueberries (frozen): 1 cup
  • Rice protein powder: 1 scoop
  • Ginger: 1 thumb piece
  • Almond milk: 1 cup
  • Nut butter of choice (I use almond butter): 1 tbsp
