So you’re feeling weak and want a nutritious, but tasty raw source of energy to pick you right back up?

 

This recipe is a favourite in the Kitchen. When this is presented to non-vegan friends they are incredibly surprised that it is a completely vegan recipe and even considered becoming vegan soon after their first bite!

 

The combination of textures and flavours provide the ultimate umami taste. This Vegan Ground recipe catches your inner cravings whilst lifting up your spirits and sparking motivation back into your life.

 

Enjoy lightly fried as a main dish or simply in it’s raw form.

 

For 2 people

Blend (In a food processor)

  • Cauliflower: 2 cups
  • Walnuts: 1 cup
  • Basil: 1 cup
  • Spring Onion: 1 whole
  • Onion: ½ whole (optional)
  • Garlic 2 cloves (optional)
  • Apple Cider Vinegar: 1 tbsp
  • Tomato Paste: 2 tbsp
  • Coconut Sugar Syrup 1 tbsp
  • Olive Oil: 2-3 tbsp
  • Smoked paprika: 1 tbsp
  • Sea Salt: 1-2 tsp

 

Recommendation

Once all ingredients are combined, lightly fry in coconut oil for 5-10 minutes.

Or similarly, using a dehydrator roll out the mixture on parchment paper and dehydrate for 4-6 hours.

Make a big batch and store in the fridge or freezer (you know you’ll want more!).
